MY STORY
I Built My Life on Doing Scary Things.
Not because I wasn't afraid. Because I was — and I did it anyway.
In 2016 I was living the "right" life. NYC. Fashion corporate. Good job, climbing the ladder, all the external success markers. And I was exhausted and completely unfulfilled.
After my first coaching session, I did something that terrified me — I quit. Turned down a comparable position. Moved to Florida. Took a starting role at a small brand doing something entirely different.
Was I scared? Completely. Did I do it anyway? Yes.
That decision led to being recruited into employee experience at a fintech company — another leap into territory where I had zero experience. Over six and a half years, I grew into management, led a team of five, and built wellness initiatives that reached over 1,600 employees. I learned something there that I carry into every coaching conversation: individual courage and organizational culture are two sides of the same coin.
Then came the hardest one. During a pandemic, I became a mom — and made the decision to leave an unfulfilling relationship and become a single parent. If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I lead with courage, not comfort.
My clarity moment came while leading a corporate initiative on core values. As I worked through the exercises myself, I finally saw my own misalignment — and recognized the same disconnect in the people around me. That's when I got certified as a coach. That's when everything clicked.
Now I help people do the thing they already know they need to do. I've moved countries, pivoted careers, survived a layoff, rebuilt as a single parent during a pandemic, and crossed HYROX finish lines when my body said no.
I go first. So you know it's possible.
What I Know To Be True
— Overthinking is the enemy of action
— Fear doesn't go away — you just learn to move anyway.
— The voice making excuses is almost always wrong.
— Having someone call you out is a gift, not a threat.
— The scary move is almost always worth it.
— Courage is contagious. When one person gets brave, it gives others permission.
